Threatened Species

Last weekend a couple of boys were making this snowman right in the middle of the walkway to their home. He was still there when I returned a few days later with my sketchbook.

It's been sunny and cold - no wonder Snowy is smiling.  Lucky for him he's in shadow most of the day, because March is just days away and the weather has to break soon.

  1. Hi John, I have just found your blog via Pinterest and have just subscribed. Love the sketches that you have done by the way. I have recently started a journel to improve my drawing/waterclour skills for hen I am travelling and it's fun too. I'm in Western Australia and it's a warm one here today about 38degreesC-100degreesF. I'm actually really looking forward to the weather cooling and some rain. Probably as much as you are holding out for some warm weather:)
Take care and look forward to your blog posts

    1. Oh, and Cerena - this post might be helpful

      sketch on!

  2. Hey thanks Cerena. I have friends in WA and yes different wether conditions. I'll skate 5 km.s on the canal downtown to Church this morning.
I'm glad to hear you are sketching - I've had a lot of fun doing this.
